Nu Noi ... an average Thai girl

By train to Malaysia

The journey started at the same place as in "Photo 3", but forunately in the afternoon

Bangkok's main railway station Hua Lampong

Your know what they say about the early bird.

Well, I didn't catch a worm, but I had to wait for the train for 2 hours

22 hours to go

Southern Thailand has a beautiful landscape, but if you see it for hours and hours it becomes boring

At the border...

...everyone had to take all the luggage and we were told that no Malaysian train is available. We had to take the bus. A mini van

After 30 minutes a passenger told the driver that he forgot to pass Malaysian immigration. No stamp in his passport. Back to the border. That wasn't fun

On the ferry!

Finally, 29 hours after I left my mom at home, I got on the ferry Butterworth > Penang

No, that's not my ferry...

...that's it:

Don't run around in the dark...

...your could end up in the sewer

Sights in Penang

You can see some Thai style Buddhist temples. Sorry, I didn't take pictures because I see that every day at home

Many beautiful temples

Many beautiful churches

And of course they have mosques everywhere

Shortcut along the sewer

Komtar...

...is the center and orientation point for everyone

Back on the ferry.

After 2 days I was glad to get back on the ferry. The first step on my way home. I missed my mom

Trainstation Butterworth

I had a lot of time to look aroung, because the train was 3 hours late

Back to Thailand

After passing Thai immigration I looked out of the window, hoped to sleep and to wake up soon at home!
